What do I need for my entertainment system?
I’m thinking about putting together an entertainment system in my basement. What kind of things would I need? I would need it to be able to play my wii, 360or ps3 and some other things. Thanks!
I’m thinking about building an entertainment system, what sort of stuff would i need and how much would it cost? Thanks
(Im thinking about a projector)
Projectors are great to get a huge screen but the problem is not only lighting (i have one) they are limited to the number of connections (inputs they have) where most dlp or even lcds that cost around the same amount have double the amount of inputs. This is important if you wanna get the best quality from all your devices and dont want to by a switch. bulb replacements are about $400 a bulb (one every 1000-2000 hrs) so you are probably better of with an lcd as they last a long time without having to recharge the cells as you would a plasma. I would definetely recommend a surround sound system to get the best gaming and movie experience. Tv you are looking at anywhere from $600 to $1700 depending on size. I cant have less then 30” screen myself. the surround sound will cost you around $200-$600 from a cheap sony system to a pretty loud onkyo system. (all home theater in a box) (buy seperate components and your looking at a lot more money. If money is no object get an lg lcd and an onkyo home theater system. Try these links and price them. After that you just gotta worry about seating (sofa, chairs whatever) that’s really all you need besides what you’re gonna plug into these things. Good Luck
